Every day we’ll share a handful of pets in need on Click for Paws. When you click for them, we’ll make a small donation to support those pets or the charitable programs caring for them. You can also read those pets’ stories or give a direct donation to fund their care.

Remus

The three-year-old hound mix is a gentle giant with a big heart. He is quiet and calm and enjoys taking naps in the sun. According to the shelter, "While he’s thoughtful and calm, Remus shows his affection in subtle ways, always keeping an eye out for a scratch behind the ears or a kind word."

On August 20th, as part of NBCUniversal Local's 11th annual Clear the Shelters event, The Animal Rescue Site and Greater Good Charities are flying over 130 cats and dogs out of the South to new homes in New Jersey and New Hampshire.
